About
“Beauty is not optional but a strategy for survival. In spite of everything, beauty holds us, in whatever form we seek it.” 〰 TERRY TEMPEST WILLIAMS
LOVE THY SELF
When it comes to nurturing the most important relationship in your life (the one you have with yourself) there’s no tool quite like tarot. It’s literally a map of the human experience. The practice of pulling cards helps you build self-trust, cope with change, and exercise your free will. It’s also fun as hell.
MEET THE mystery
Contrary to what you might have heard, not everything happens for a reason and tarot is not good at predicting the future. In this house, we acknowledge the fragility and mystery of life (no spiritual bypassing here). Tarot is a conduit for self-actualisation; it’s not a crystal ball.
in good company
Asking for help is a sign of self-respect. You may identify as a lone wolf, but the truth is we all need support in this world. Being human is…alot. You don’t have to figure it out on your own. Tarot is a tool and a friend that walks with you through the changing seasons of your life.
FALLING IN LOVE
I found tarot in my early twenties during a spiky breakup. At first I was afraid of it; the idea of seeing something in my future spooked me. I began pulling cards daily, and soon realised that tarot wasn’t about the future at all. It was about the present.
A FRIEND FOR LIFE
When I say tarot is my friend, I mean it. Our friendship has taken time to grow and has evolved through different chapters. It nourishes all of my relationships, and my creative practice as a writer. Tarot has my back and calls me out when I need it.
CAROLINE AND FRIDA
When my twin daughters died in 2021, I didn’t know if I would ever pick up a tarot deck again. My loss changed the fabric of my being. In my deepest grief, tarot met me. It continues to hold my hand as I walk this path. My work is dedicated to Caroline and Frida.
